mark the Anniversary of June 4 which are directed against the Central
Government, and to take proper steps to ensure the safety of NCNA and
other Chinese institutions based in Hong Kong.
On the question of the broadcasting vessel "Goddess of Democracy"
which intends to enter and dock in Hong Kong to carry out anti-China
broadcasting towards the mainland, aimed at subverting the PRC Govern-
ment, the Chinese side has already made its position clear to the
Hong Kong Government, and the Hong Kong Government has committed
itself not to let the said vessel enter and dock in Hong Kong. Here
I'd like to express once again our grave concern on this matter and
hope the Hong kong Government would live up to its commitment and
refuse the vessel to enter Hong Kong and refrain from giving any
supplies to it. We'd also like to be kept informed of the movements
and locations of the vessell as well as other matters related to it.
