The Hong Kong Government recently decided to accept the recommendations of the Standing Committee on the pay

The additional increases recommended for Junior Police Officers do not in anyway detract from the important role played by the staff of the other disciplined services in maintaining the stability and security of Hong Kong.

The Standing committee will submit its advice on the pay for the Officer ranks towards the end of the year.

The Committee's advice will be considered by the Hong Kong Government as а matter of priority.
