Many thanks for your letter of 26 April, which I

have just received through the Foreign and Commonwealth office.

I am delighted to hear that you and Peter Corterier will be able to stop off here en route to Taiwan and Korea at the end of this month. We will arrange a programme for you on the lines requested in your letter, and pass details on to you via the FCO.

I hope also to have a chance to see you both, and have 11.30am on Friday 18 May pencilled in my diary. Unfortunately I am due to leave on a visit to New York, Ottawa and Toronto on the evening of 18 May but, unless my travel plans have to be changed for any reason, I look forward to seeing you both then.
