I am the 1990 National President of British Junior Chamber, the organisation for organisation Junior Chamber International. you to ask for your advice.

I have been invited to attend the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of Hong Kong Junior Chamber on 6 May 1990. I am able to accept as I shall be travelling to a JCI conference in Thailand the following week. It is highly likely that I shall be

invited to speak at the dinner to be held in the

evening and it is for this that I wished to seek your advice.

We are a non political organisation but the problems facing Hong Kong are likely to be uppermost in the minds of many of the Junior Chamber members there. We attract to our membership business and professional people under the age of 40. I know from outline information they have sent they are committed to striving for the future prosperity and stability of Hong Kong.

I am of course aware from the media the latest information on the situation in Hong Kong, but if you can give me any further guidance that might be useful if called to address the Chamber members.

I apologise for the lateness of this request as I travel on the 4th May but I have just received this invitation and have amended my travel plans to be able to attend.
