Payments from "Kuwaiti Accounts"

12. Permission is hereby given to debic the accounts of

residents of Kuwait (see paragraph 51 for the following purposes

(a) living, medical, educational and similar

expenses of residents of Kuwait in Hong Kong.

payments to other "Kuwaiti Accounts" in Hong Kong;

payment of interest, or repayment of capital, on borrowings from Hong Kong residents by residents of Kuwait;

payments to Hong Kong residents in connection with the operations of vessels and aircraft owned by, or on charter to, residents of Kuwait;

payment to Hong Kong residents of insurance premiums;

payment of charges to authorized institutions in Hong Kong,

(9) payment of sums due pursuant to the inland Revenue Ordinance and to the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance.

(h)

distributions and payments to residents of Hong Kong under wills and intestacies and under trusts set up before 7 August 1990.

13. The Financial Secretary will consider applications

payments to meet travel expenditure by residents of Kuwait leaving Hong Kong:

payments for charitable purposes;

payments of the types described in paragraphs 12vo), id). el and (b) to residents outside Bang Kora

payment5 in respect of goods which have been shipped or otherwise despatched to Hong Kong against evidence of shipment or despatch and production of any necessary import licence;
