COMMOMWEALTH FINANCE MINISTER'S MEETING, PORT OF SPAIN,

1. In case you have not already been formally notified, Roger Bone Head of ERD will be part of the official delegation to this years Commonwealth Finance Ministers' meeting which will take place in Port of Spain, Trinidad on 19-20 September. In addition to Mr Bone we expect to include among the British Delegation representatives from Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar and Montserrat. Invitations have been sent to those DTS and to Hong Kong. Hong Kong have said that they would not wish to send a representative this year. Responses from the other four are still awaited but we can be certain that Gibraltar will wish to be involved.
