NOTICE
1. The Japanese Army uses the military note issued by Government of the Japanese Empire. The military note is backed by huge credit and can be used for any purchases.
2. The Hong Kong Dollars including the legal tender of Hong kong and the note issued by the Government of Hong Kong shall be forbidden to circulate. However, for the time being, for public convenience, those notes not more than HK$10 will be permitted to circulate among the people until further notice.
3. During such period as permitted the circulation of the Hong Kong notes, exchange will be made with the military note for the amount not more than Yen 10 military note at the time for each person at the military note exchange stations.
4. Those who

violate the following points with regard circulation of
the military notes, shall be punished severly according to the military rule:
A. Those who bring in or take out the military notes to and from Hong Kong without the permit of the military authorities for the purpose of profiteering.

Those who disturb or attempt to disturb the circulation of the military note by abusing it or circulating the false report or groundless rumour whatsoever of it. Those who change or attempt to change intentionally the fixed rate of exchange of the military note.
D. Those others who disturb the circulation and use of the
military note, otherwise
