That this House congratulates the National Curriculum History Working Group on the proposal, in its Final Report, that the events of the Nazi Holocaust should be taught in Britain's schools to 14 to 16 years olds: believes that it is essential that schoolchildren are able to learn about the evils of fascim. anti-semitism and racial genocide; and urges Her Majesty's Government to implement this valuable proposal as a core part of the history national curriculum.

That this House rejects the Government's current policy on Hong Kong and calls for the people of Hong Kong to be enabled to directly elect their own Assembly which should then be empowered to negotiate the transfer in 1997.
