Dear Sirs,
Re: Royal Pardon
Mr & Mrs Lee Kai Suite 708 Kai Min Hse., Cho Yiu Cheun, Kowloon, Hong Kong
Your exalted highnesses of The Privy Council, my name is Lee Kai, and I am writing this plea to you, regarding my son Lee Chi Ming, who is presently sentenced to life imprisonment in Bangkok, Thailand.
For over a year now, my son has been going through the process of the Thai court, on a charge of possessing drugs. Now that he has been given an unbelievable life sentenced, I feel it is time for me to express to you my feeling of grief anguish and anger over what has happened?
As Lee Chi Ming's father, I know my son better than anybody and I know for sure that he has never been involved with drug in any way. His life has been one of sacrifice for the whole family when he was is, my wife was diagnosed as having diabetes and was forced to give up working. The following year, I was diagnosed as a diabetic. My son then gave up his education and started working so as to support us, and to put his younger brothers and sister through school. There is no doubt that I am very proud of my son, and with good reason, he has worked his way up from working many jobs (often holding down two to one) to eventually starting and running his own
business.
I can be sure that he has never involved in drugs, as we are a very close family, always living in the same abode, and never hiding anything from each other. How my son can be accused of running an international drug syndicate while at the same time working full time, and living us at home is total nonsense. Never could I have imagined even in my worst nightmares that my son would be imprisoned for life for a crime he was innocent of.
Anger, is not a strong enough word for express my feelings towards the legal system that has taken away my son. It is quite likely that neither I nor my wife will ever seen him again, the anguish that has been caused to my family and the ruination of my son's life is something we do not deserve.
Our whole family hope that you can do something about his situation by putting some pressure on the Thai government to grant him a Royal Pardon, so he can be returned home to us.
I beg you, as a father, to do whatever you can to help my son, I am dying to seeks your supports to save my son's life from panic, and have your very best knowledges of legal advices to the captioned objective, and have your prompt reply to us.
My son Lee Chi Ming is now in custody at:-
T
Bangkwan Central Prison, Building 5,
Nonthaburi Road, Bangkok 11000, Thailand
Your highly concem to the above matter is much appreciated,
雄
LEE KAI
