force. Mr Vallance said that all countries with whom agreements had been signed would be designated under the DTOA in the new session of Parliament. He expected the process to be completed by Easter. There would then be another order in Council covering the Criminal Justice Act provisions, where appropriate, by the summer of 1990.
(e) Mr Faires asked that the CPS be sent copies of all the agreements signed so far, together with copies of the relevant foreign legislation. Mr Hawkins undertook to forward the texts of the agreements. Mr White suggested that it might be appropriate for the Central Authority to act as the repository for our library of national legislation.
(f) Mr White said this was his last meeting and thanked all present for their help over the years.
(g) The next meeting was provisionally arranged for Wednesday 24 January.
