WORLD MINISTERIAL SUMMIT TO REDUCE DEMAND FOR DRUGS

AND TO COMBAT THE COCAINE THREAT: 9-11 APRIL 1990

PROBLEM

1. The Home Office are pressing ahead with

arrangements for the Summit. Invitations must be

issued soon. We need to agree the form of approach

to Governments and other participating

organisations. We also need to decide to which

governments we would be prepared to provide funding

assistance to ensure their attendance.
