An Ordinance to amend certain Ordinances creating charitable trust funds.

[21 July 1989]

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Charitable Trust Funds (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 1989.

Amendments

2. The Ordinances specified in the second column of the Schedule are amended in the manner specified in the third column of the Schedule.

Amendment

In section 5(1), by repealing “in Hong Kong". In section 6(1), by repealing "administer and manage the fund" and substituting—

"manage the investment of the moneys of the fund in accordance with such general or specific directions as the trustee may give in writing from time to time”.

In section 7(b), by adding after "Ordinance"-

"or to manage the investment of the moneys of the Fund in accordance with such general or specific directions as the Board of Trustees may give in writing from time to time".
