COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION: ARTICLE ON HONG KONG

A

1. The Secretary of State has agreed to contribute an article on

Hong Kong for the July edition of The Parliamentarian, the journal

of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).

2. We provided an article, as requested, in mid-May (galley-proof

attached) but the CPA have invited us to amend the text in the light

of recent developments. The CPA have been warned that the article

will require substantial amendment. They have asked for the article

by 10 July if possible. I submit a revised article.
