1. I refer to Mr Morris's minute to you of 1 February and your subsequent advice of 7 February (I attach a copy for ease of reference).

2. I have now had a self-explanatory reply from Hong Kong (copy attached). Although they have not been able to furnish any of the documents/papers we requested, they have provided copies of a numbe of papers which they believe provides sufficient evidence to satisf us on the points we raised.

I would be grateful for your advice on whether you now consider the way clear for arrangements to be made for the money to be donated to the chosen charity.
