Arrest of pro-democracy supporters starts.

Train set alight in Shanghai after 6 protesters killed. 11 arrested.

Disturbance at Mong Kok from 2:30-4:00 a.m. About 1,000 people in confrontation with the Police. About 100 policemen equipped with helmets, batons and shields, fire tear gas at the rioters, some of whom set fire to rubbish bins.

Mass parade called off, but many people wear black to mourn the deaths in Peking.

Some shops close for the day and many workers stop work for a short period.

About 10,000 people working in banks and financial institutions parade in

Central during lunch time.

The All HK Alliance publish an advertisement, denying the legality of the Chinese regime.
