An Ordinance to amend the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Roads (Works, Use and Compensa- tion) (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.
Notices of resumption of land
2. Section 14 of the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance (Cap. 370) is amended-
(a) in subsection (1) by repealing "Notice" and substituting "Subject to
subsection (3), notice"; and
(b) by adding after subsection (2)—
“(3) Where an order has been made under section 13(1) in respect of land which was, when the order was made, a road, subsection (1)(a) of this section shall not apply.".
