ROAD TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT)(NO. 3) ORDINANCE 1988

(No. 89 of 1988)

This Ordinance amends the Road Traffic Ordinance so as to increase the maximum seating capacity of light buses from 14 to 16. The minimum seating capacity of a bus is similarly raised to more than 16, thus maintaining the distinction between a bus and a light bus. But existing registrations of buses as private or public buses are not affected by the change.

2. Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
