Britain Trades

Britain Trades is the official journal of the British Trade Commission in Hongkong. The edi- torial material for the journal is prepared by the Central Office of Information in London to assist British companies exporting their products, services and technology to Hongkong and the People's Republic of China.

Britain Trades is published by Hongkong based Elgin Consultants Limited and distributed free of charge to some 3 000 senior executives of com- panies and organisations on the British Trade Com- mission's commercial mailing list. Anyone else may obtain a copy by taking out a subscription with the publisher.

Britain Trades does not usually contain material for which the copyright is invested in other than the British Trade Commission in Hongkong. Where such material has been included, the copyright holder will be identified. All other material may be freely repro- duced in whole or in part without prior authorisa- tion from the British Trade Commission in Hong- kong; attribution, and a copy of the material as reproduced, would be appreciated.

Britain Trades' Editorial Schedule is designed to coincide with, promote and complement, major British trade missions to Hongkong and the People's Republic of China. The schedule is published in each issue of the journal but may, from time to time, be amended.

Britain Trades provides a Reader Enquiry Service in respect to companies and their products, services and technology which are promoted in the journal. This is part of a wider and more compre-

hensive trade enquiry service offered by the British Trade Commission, details of which also appear in each issue of the journal.

Britain Trades accepts advertising from British companies and from the agents of any British com- panies when the agents are promoting British products, services and technology. Advertising rates are published in a MediaInfo Brochure which is

available on request. The rates are also published,

from time to time, in the journal itself.
