AN OPERATIONAL CONCEPT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF UK STRATEGY "OUT-OF-AREA” 2000-2015
1.
The MOD have produced a draft concept for UK Out-of-Area (ie outside NATO area) strategy for the years 2000-2015, and are seeking comments. We would appreciate comments from Departments by Wednesday 15 November to pass on to MOD. Nil returns are not required.
2. I have marked paragraphs which seemed to me to be relevant to individual Departments. My apologies where I have marked irrelevant sections. Conversely I would be grateful if you would draw other departments' attention to anything they ought to see which is not marked specifically to them. Paragraphs 59-67 provide a resumé.
