d. Two aircraft for HQBF, HQ 48 Bde and HKG command. liaison and reconnaissance. These aircraft will be used in support of both the IS and sovereignty roles.

The 6 aircraft must be available at short notice to fulfil all the above roles in parallel and for extended periods. Because of the requirement to fill all roles simultaneously, the task cannot be met with less than 6

aircraft.
