First definition of AE and IUR or IRR of Wessex and Scout helicopters will be dependent upon a study of the garri- son's helicopter support requirements to be conducted by CBF Hong Kong during 1989.

Serial 2 reduction is dependent upon assumption by RHKP of the majority of military tasks and responsibility for the whole border, permitting reduction of the garrison's half company IS 11ft requirement to a simultaneous platoon lift.

3. The residual force must guarantee the operational availability of 4 Wessex and 4 Scouts (3 once the garrison redu- ces to a single battalion group).
