13. Army Supporting Arms and Services. It was unanimously agreed that these should be directly related to the Garrison's operational roles and requirements throughout the rundown not simply those of remaining battalions. HQBFHK indicated that the reduction of supporting arms and services would be reviewed by a number of studies in 1989 and would be related to the new Concept of Ops, but the first significant reductions were not expected until 1992. For these reasons, the staff have accepted that incorporation of an outline plan would be premature at this stage.
