I have the honour to inform you that at its meeting on

8 December 1988, the Technical Assistance and Co-operation Committee of the Board of Governors recommended for approval by the Board the projects listed in the enclosure for implementation under the 1989 Regular Programme of Technical Co-operation. Where the title of a project differs from that of the request, both titles are given.

The approval of the programme carries with it an obligation on behalf of the Authorities of Hong Kong for payment to the Agency of assessed programme costs, amounting to 8% of the cost of the total technical assistance, including fellowships, provided to your country during the year. This amount may be paid in local currency
