The International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) presents its compliments and, with reference to the Diplomatic Conference for the Conclusion of a Treaty on the Protection of Intellectual Property In Respect of Integrated Circuits, which will be held in Washington from May 8 to 26, 1989, has the honor to announce that the said Conference will take place at the "International Conference Suite" in the Department of State Building. (The entry to the said Suite is the "C" Street entry of the Department of State.) The Diplomatic Conference will open at 10:00 a.m. on May 8, 1989.

A brochure entitled "Facilities and Services Available in the Department of State Building," issued by the Office of International Conferences of the Department of State of the United States of America is attached.

As the International Bureau of WIPO cannot undertake to make arrangements for the hotel accommodation of participants, delegates of States and representatives of organizations should contact the embassy or other representation of their government in Washington, D.C., or a travel agency for information or assistance in engaging suitable hotel accommodations ..
