Arrange supply of provisions and fuel from CAS;
Arrange Marine Officer through Mardep Port Control; Liaise with Colony Polmil concerning towing details; (f) Open a CACCS to record each step of the procedure.
On receipt of information from M RCCC or Colony Polmil that
a vessel is to be removed from Territorial waters, SOC R will arrange for an RN Patrol Craft to R/V with the vessel on the lee side of Po
Toi Island. He will ascertain from Colony Folmil where the vessel is
to be towed to and convey this information to the Patrol Craft concerned.
He will maintain liaison with M RCCC.

The senior officer on board a police launch/Patrol Craft
designated to remove a vessel from HK waters will be the Field Commander.
He will first of all remove all the occupants from the vessel and detain
them on board his own or another Government vessel. He will then make
a general survey of the condition of the vessel with regard to its sca- worthiness and stage of provisioning/fuelling. If the vessel appears to him to be clearly unseaworthy, he will scek instructions before
proceeding further. He will open a log in accordance with the format
at Annex B, and hand over a copy of this log to any other craft which
takes over the duty from him. If the vessel is in or near the Harbour area, he will guard it until the completion of refuelling/re-provisioning
and surveying, and will then tow it to the lee side of Fo Toi Island,
otherwise he will tow it immediately to Po Toi Island where surveying,
refuelling and re-provisioning will take place. The occupants of the
veeerl will here be transferred from the police launch to the RN Patrol
Craft which will continue the tow to a position in international waters
as ordered by Colony Polmil. Having reached this position, the occupants
will be returned to their vessel and the Patrol Craft will then
immediately leave the scene in order to negate the possibility of the
