1. I see from Hong Kong telno. 2055 that the Governor is working on projects which will require him to draw on the money we extracted from the Treasury. This is well and good, and you will need to be in touch with Finance Department on how the funding should be obtained. I do, however, note that the Governor is still talking about £4.5m. As you know, the sum is in fact somewhat smaller than this since we have used £250,000 for tents. My recollection is that the total amount involved in the construction of accommodation is £4m, and it will be important to ensure that the Governor does not overspend.
