The Foundation will pursue its aim in a number of ways-

Campaigning for Britain to fulfil its obligations to Hong Kong, many of whose people qualify as British subjects, through granting of right of abode to, at least, all British Dependent Territories Overseas passport holders: or leading by example an international effort to provide security to Hong Kong people.
Giving Hong Kong permanent international status through the establishment in Hong Kong, of major international institutions, including a regional headquarters or branch of the United Nations.
Gaining international support for Hong Kong at government, institutional and commercial levels, including support from the Prople's Republic of China.
Involving the Hong Kong business community in devising and delivering positive steps to improve the territory's standing and competitiveness in the inter- national business community.

Encouraging Hong Kong community and individual involvement in securing the future and re-establishing confidence in Hong Kong.
Establishing an "International Friends of Hong Kong Association." We want to see one friend for every one of tiong Kong's five million plus Hong Kong citizens.
Hongkong 3000 Foundation is new, born out of the mid 1989. crisis in China and consequently in Hong Kong. Its founders know no creed or race beyond a beliet in and commitment to Hong Kong, its people and all that Hong Kong stands for on the world stage.
Membership will extend across the entire social spectrum, both Hong Kong and abroad and will hopefully consist of individuals from large, and small corporat ions; from professional bodies; community groups as wells Trom any individual,- from mulk of life, who feels concern over the future of Hong Kong and all for which it stands.
The Hongkong 3000 Foundation does not require financial commitment. Acknowledgment of your support is all we ask. You can do this by filling in the attached Support Pledge. There is no joining fee or subscuption.
Our Hongkong 3000 supporter fom identifies various activities where you can be involved - or you need not get dzectly involved at all. Your support will bẹ valued and add weight to the campaign.
We hope you will feel able to play your part in securing a future for Hong Kong and the people of Hong Kong.
