THE PUS'S LUNCH WITH LORD FANSHAWE: 22 JUNE
1. The PUS has accepted an invitation to lunch with Lord Fanshawe on Thursday 22 June.

The last time they lunched, the conversation covered
Brunei;
Hong Kong; and
the Franco-British Council.
For this round, therefore, I should be grateful if you, and those to whom I am copying this, would let me have some off-the-peg briefing which will remind the PUS where we stand. If there are any points which you think it particularly important for the PUS to make to Lord Fanshawe on any subject, please let me know.
3. It would be helpful if the material could reach this office by 1500 on Wednesday 21 June.
