UK/PRC Air Services Negotiations If Raised

Another round of negotiations (postponed since June) took place last week. We pressed strongly for scheduled services for Dragonair to a range of regional points in the PRC. Signs that Chinese prepared to agree this as part of a package including designation

for Chinese airlines to Hong Kong. But another round of talks

needed to conclude agreement.
