A key concern is the issue of nationality. We in Britaiin have

been left in no doubt about the intensity of feeling in Hong Kong on

this issue. We are now urgently working on a package of proposals

(cannot announce details yet). I can nevertheless assure you that

whatever the package is it will address squarely the concerns of

civil servants, and of course others who serve the community in Hong

Kong.
