HONG KONG: CALL ON SECRETARY OF STATE BY OMELCO DELEGATION: 20

NOVEMBER

1. The OMELCO delegation, led by Mr Allen Lee, will call on the

Secretary of State on 20 November at 1045 am. They are likely to

raise nationality, Vietnamese boat people and constitutional

development.

2. I submit points to make on these topics, together with background and a biographical note on the delegation members.

3. The delegation will also be seeing the Home Secretary and Mr

Maude. Arrangements are also being made for some of them to call on

Lord Trefgarne.

4.

I will be available to attend at the meeting if required.
