residence in this country.

But there is no problem for spouses of British citizens

to enter this country with their partners.

To make special changes for Hong Kong students only would be unfair to other students, including other British nationals studying here (ie BOCS of Malaysian

origin).

But applications for citizenship from those who have

been here for long period (over 10 years) are considered

sympathetically.

Young professionals/entrepreneurs?

Professional people may come to this country to work

provided they can obtain a work permit. Their

prospective employer can apply for this on their

behalf.

Investors wishing to establish a business in this

country are welcome to enter and settle here.
