DEPENDENT TERRITORIES' ENVIRONMENT: "FRAGMENTS OF PARADISE"
1.
Further to my minute of 12 December, to which not all the copyees replied, I have now arranged for representatives of the NGO Forum for Nature Conservation in the UK Dependent Territories to come to the FCO at 3pm on Tuesday 31 January to discuss reactionto "Fragments of Paradise" and future liaison on conservation in the DTS.
2. I should be grateful if you and copy addressees would confirm you are able to attend the meeting, or nominate a representative. I shall be in touch soon about an internal meeting to discuss how to handle the 31 January meeting and to circulate a compilation of comments received from Dependent Territories and others on "Fragments of Paradise".
