DEPENDENT TERRITORIES' ENVIRONMENT: "FRAGMENTS OF PARADISE"

1.

My minute of 13 January to Sheila Eddis, copied to the other recipients of this minute, refers.

2. The meeting with members of the NGO Forum for Nature Conservation in the UK Dependent Territories will be held in Room WH240 (the Conference Room on the first floor of the Whitehall sector of the FCO) at the previously arranged time of 3pm on Tuesday 31 January.

3. To prepare for the meeting with the NGO Forum, we have arranged an interdepartmental meeting at 10.30 on Friday 20 January. This meeting will be held in the India Office Council Chamber. I should be most grateful if all receipients of this minute would attend (although I realise this may be difficult for colleagues in Bristol).

4. I attach a compilation of comments received from those Dependent Territories and others who responded to our invitation to comment on "Fragments of Paradise". Further copies will not be available at the meetings: please bring this copy with you:
