CHAPTER I

GOVERNMENT GAZETTE

108. Every department must hold, and keep amended up to date, in every respect, at least one complete set of the Laws of Hong Kong and one bound volume each of each year's issues of Legal Supplements Nos. 1, 2 and 7 issued subsequently to the Laws. Any additional volumes of Laws and Legal Supplements held by a department will be kept amended up to date in respect of legislation which particularly concerns that department, but need not necessarily be amended in respect of other legislation.

109.

Indices, contents, tables and referencing are based on the headings of notices, and it is therefore essential to include some guidance to the contents or actual subject matter of any notice in its heading. The short title of an Ordinance is very seldom an adequate heading on its own, and a 'CORRIGENDUM' should bear the same heading as the notice it corrects. Very brief notices may need no heading.
