There is no Chinese nationality requirement for Lego members, from whom a portion of Exco members would be drawn under
(iv)
Art. 71(2) be amended to:
"To decide on the agenda, giving priority to such bills as the government requests be included in the agenda;"
Immunity of officials in LegCo
(v)
Art. 76 be amended to:
"Members of the Legislative Council and officials designated by the Government of the Hong Kong SAR shall not be legally liable for votes and speeches made at meetings of the Council."
It is suggested that the Chinese nationality requirement for ExCo members be removed.
