Article 123

The Hong Kong SAR shall
maintain Hong
Kong's
previous systems of shipping manage ment and shipping
regulating conditions
regulation, including the system for regulating
of seamen.
The specific functions and responsibilities of the
Govern ment of the Hong Kong SAR in respect of shipping
shall be defined by it on its own.
Article 124
The Hong Kong SAR shall be authorized by the CPG
to continue to maintain a shipping register and issue
related certificates under the legislation of the Region
using the name "Hong Kong, China".
Article 125
With the exception of foreign warships, access for which requires the special permission of the CPG, ships shall enjoy access to the ports of the Hong Kong SAR in accordance with the laws of the Region.
Article 126
Private shipping business and
business and private container terminals SAR may continue to operate freely.
