The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR Region

must be a person of integrity, dedicated to his/her duties.

The Chief Executive, on assuming office, shall

declare his/her assets to the Chief Justice of the Court of

Final Appeal of the Hong Kong SAR. This declaration shall

be put on record.

Article 48

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR shall exercise the following powers and functions:

(1) To lead the government of the Region;
