MOTIONS

LANDLORD AND TENANT (CONSOLIDATION) ORDINANCE

The Secretary for Lands and Works moved the following motion and addressed the Council

That

(a) the Landlord and

(b)

(c)

amended

(i)

in

:

Tenant

(Consolidation)

Ordinance be

section 10 (1) by repealing "39" and substituting "43";

(ii) in section 58 (2) by repealing "60" in both places

where it occurs and substituting "65"; and

(iii) in section 74B (1)

the

substituting "1991";

by repealing "1989" and

amendment set out in paragraph (a) (i) above shall come into operation on 1 November 1989; and

the amendment set out in paragraph (a) (ii) above shall not apply to applications. for a certificate under section 57 of the Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) Ordinance made before 19 December 1989.
