MR TEMPLE-MORRIS (COFT):

Hong Kong people, and many British people feel that the Government at the moment is being overly restrictive and very uncooperative when it comes to seeking any way of helping perhaps more Hong Kong people than at the moment

we seem inclined to do.

How would you deal with that, that is the view of

many people?

KR RENTON :

I have not had the same

I am aware of that view. opportunity as you have of visiting Hong Kong recently, I

but that point have not been there for over 2 years DOW,

has been made to me by Hong Kongers in London quite

eloquently.

I would have to say I do not think it is fully

justified, I realy do not.

But I would like, when we come

to the individual categories, I would like to take them if

I may category by category.

MR TEMPLE-NORRIS:

We are looking forward to a great attitude of

cooperation when we get to them.
