COMMITTEE'S VISIT TO HONG KONG: ARRANGEMENTS

According to the Committee Clerk, the Committee discussed the draft programme (copy attached) prepared by Hong Kong government at their meeting on 5 April. They were broadly content with the programme subject to a few minor changes, mainly concerning the lunchtime meetings. The Committee would like the opportunity to have lunchtime meetings with the Hong Kong Journalists Association and leading Hong Kong businessmen such as Li Ka-Shing (who has indicated that he would like to see the Committee). The Clerks are now in direct contact with Hong Kong Government about details of the

programme.
