I would be grateful if you would arrange for the briefs to reach the Private Office, for inclusion in the Secretary of State's weekend box, by lunch-time on Friday 10 March. I hope to receive an indication of the line of questioning, in confidence, from the Clerk two or three days prior to the oral evidence session on 22 March.

5. I will be minuting separately about the informal and off the record oral briefing which is to take place at the FCO on 8 March.
