be understood that its advance decisions are not unalterable. Circumstances on the spot may well dictate a change of mind. Nevertheless, as much advance notice as possible, with appropriate advice, will be given of any such change. holding informal meetings abroad, the Committee may well on reflection wish to secure formal evidence on the matters covered. In this case it may of course invite some of those with whom it has held discussions, particularly if they are British public servants, to give formal evidence in Westminster.
