The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend section 65B of the Criminal Procedure Ordinance, Cap. 221 so that the requirement that an English translation of a statement must be certified by a court translator may be dispensed with if all parties agree.
Before the Governor assented to the Bill in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty, the Attorney General advised that he could properly do so.
