An Ordinance to amend the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Interpretation and General Short title Clauses (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.

2. Section 18 of the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance is Marginal amended-

(a) in subsection (1) by repealing "to the marginal note of” and

substituting "as a note to"; and

(b) in subsection (3) by adding "or section heading" after "marginal

note".
