Decision

1.

This document is the means by which the Court

will give a ruling on violations of the Civil Code, for

which a fine would be imposed. The intention is that this

will cover a variety of matters, including forgery of

evidence, which in Guangdong is a civil offence only.

2.

Under the relevant Articles of the Civil Code, a

person subject to a decision of this sort could be detained

for up to 15 days.

Service of this document in Hong Kong

would, accordingly, be a warning of the consequences of a

return or visit to Guangdong Province.
