This paper has not explained fully and completely the existing scope of jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. It

has only touched briefly on some of the major points. In the existing

Laws of Hong Kong, there is no single statute that defines

comprehensibly and systemmatically the jurisdiction of the Hong

Kong courts over different kinds of cases. Thus, in tackling this question,

we must start with different branches of law, collect
