I enclose a copy of a letter from Mrs Anne Lonsdale to Mr Hum, with copy of her letter on this project to the Secretary of State. In the latter, she suggests that the Secretary of State should raise the project with Dr Stanley Ho with a view to seeking Dr Ho's financial support for it.
2. In the event the Secretary of State did not consider it appropriate to seek Dr Ho's financial support (of up to £1.5 million).
3. I should be grateful for your advice on a suitable reply.
