Waterworks Ordinance (Chapter 102) REVISION OF WATER CHARGES

The Council considered memorandum XCC(88)31.

The Council ADVISED and the Governor ORDERED

(a) that an increase in water

tariff charges of 7.5% as

detailed at Annex C to the

memorandum should be adopted;

(b) that the proposed charges for

water supplies So adopted

should be effective

in

respect of

water consumed

wholly on Or

after 1 April

1988, to be

reflected in

bills produced in respect of

meter

readings taken on or

after 1 August 1988;

(c) that under section 37 of the

Waterworks Ordinance (Chapter

102),

the

Waterworks

(Amendment)

Regulations 1988

at Annex G to the memorandum

should be made; and
