Ord. No. 49/88 ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE (MISCELLANEOUS

AMENDMENTS)

Schedule.

(ii) by deleting "$8,000" where it appears thirdly and substituting the following-

"that mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule"; (c) in section 29(1) and (2) by inserting after "On an appeal" the

following-

"for which it has granted leave”;

(d) in section 29A(1) by inserting after "High Court" the following—

"on an appeal heard by leave given";

(e) in section 29B by inserting after "On an appeal" the following—

"for which it has granted leave"; and

(ƒ) in paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Schedule by deleting "$8,000" and

substituting the following-

"$15,000".

3. The Labour Tribunal Ordinance is amended—

(a) in section 35(1) and (2) by inserting after "On an appeal" the

following-

"for which it has granted leave";

(b) in section 35A(1) by inserting after "High Court" the following—

"on an appeal heard by leave given"; and

(c) in section 35B by inserting after "On an appeal” the following-

"for which it has granted leave".

4. The District Court Ordinance is amended-

(a) in section 46 by deleting everything that occurs after "or demand"

and substituting the following-

(a) which does not exceed the sum of $60,000; or (b) which has been reduced to a sum not exceeding $60,000 by reason of the plaintiff having abandoned the amount in excess of $60,000 in his cause of action."; and

(b) in the sections mentioned in column 1 of the Schedule by deleting the amounts mentioned in column 2 and substituting the amounts mentioned in column 3.
